New York—often called New York City or the City of New York to distinguish it from the State of New York, of which it is a part—is the most populous city in the United States and also New York City traces its roots to its 1624 founding as a trading post by colonists of the Dutch Republic and was named New Amsterdam in 1629 The city and its surroundings came under English control in 1664. ^{and also new York is always pack and crowed with a lot of people an theres is a lot of places I would like to go because it really nice over there and new York is one  place I would like to be  and new York can be a little crazy but alotb of people go to see  they have like restraint to go to or many different place to go to therefore new York is somewhere I would go see}
